July (monthly)

Swimming with Deb and Isaac + Hannah (not in pic) :')
I was so scared I'd get tan (which I already am), so I applied sunscreen every 2 hours LOL
(look how happy deb looks - she didn't want to leave the pool even after 2.5 hours. truly an only child obsession)

Off to Arizona Navajo Mission trip!
my youth kids waiting for the mission team to get prayed for... they truly are so beautiful <3
on the road I had a protein-style in-n-out burger for the first time... it looked so sad hahaha
dana, mina, and the padre! such a precious family with amazing love for each other and innocent hearts. dana and mina are so... dumb, haha. they pronounced the word "acoustic" as "a-COW-stick". at first i didn't know what they were saying, but then through context i was like... "do you mean a-coo-stick?" and we laughed so hard.

the first day we arrived in navajo i was suprised and in awe of the amazing open scenary. the left is the sunsetting and the right is when we had just arrived. truly such a beautiful sighting!
the first dinner we ate was soooo good.
look at pastor jw holding water bottle for the missionary, HAHAHA. i love pastor jw <3

morning qts... kids look ROUGH, hahaha
overall mission trip was good :)
maybe i'll post my testimony on the blog because i don't want to go too in depth on this post
i was in charge of the game station and art class!
God revealed so many things to me on this trip, gave me challenges that i needed to lean on the Lord and find comfort within pastor jw and the people on this trip

after the mission trip, some of us went to antelope canyon where they have really cool naturally made ridges within the canyons
it was an experience forsure! i would highly recommend once in your lifetime
(look at mina holding david sunflower seeds, hahah so cute)
seeing God's work and creation through nature always helps me understand how small i am and humbles me...

on the way up to norcal we stopped by harrison ranch where we ate a BIG steak... after eating such terrible food in some of the arizona cities, eating steak at harrison's was truly a blessing - it cleansed my palette

a couple days after the mission trip, the first people i met up with is sangjoon (sam) and wilson
we legit just fat chilled until young adult event at CCPC, where they were hosting a bbq party
i also started my first couple days of work so i had to study for a test that i will be taking in about 3 months
i work as a behavioral therapist (ABA therapy)
basically, i work with children with autism! i have officially started my journey into getting into grad school for marriage and family therapy
i really want to get into grad school, so im giving it my all to a path i've never had experience in...!

sangj and jeremy <3 this was my second time meeting jeremy and man, an interesting man is the most uninteresting way to describe him
he's probably the most genuine but also funniest guy i've met,,, and i've met a lot of people lol
the food was good (i'm not too picky so it's chill but you know) - the vibes are what I'M after haha

I recommend this beer. my grandma brought it from "business class" LOL

Went to watch the sunset by myself :) saw a place so perfectly in midst of nothingness...
sunsets always gives me life and bring me peace. perhaps it is God's comfort to my anxiousness - his gift to me

weeding out the entire backyard by myself while waiting for pris to come over :')
took roughly 2 hours

I hadn't seen noah for over a month because he was on Japan mission trip and sam and pris cause i was just going through a season... we went to watch the sunset at walnut creek though :)
twas a beautiful day

New hope's weekly friday taco run to santiguitos! <3 all my youth kids + pastor jw

forced half the english ministry to come with us to meadowlark LOL
just fyi, best soft ice cream in california, no cap! >:)

jaemin came back from japan mission trip so we caught up by going to imm thai in berkeley. i swear this is my go-to if i'm treating berkeley kids to food
crazy to think jaemin is now going to be a sophomore... that shekki... when will he grow up :')

went climbing at pac pipe in oakland with a couple ccpc young adults
i hadn't climbed in like 3 months so my forearms gave out LOL
it was super fun, but climbing memberships cost an arm and leg to maintain :(

jw practically begged us to go bowling with him so a couple of us made it happen!
ofcourse i won both rounds, hahaha
jw: (mockingly) "what ARE you bad at...!"
on the way back, the yoon sisters and i had great conversations, per usual

my beautiful mother, pizza, and salad of the day... pizzetta 211 has my heart, always! <3
we ordered 2 more pizzas after lol

finally caught up with marian...!! she's one of the 2(?) 3(?) people i keep in touch from high school. always a pleasure seeing her and catching up.
i felt bad though since i had to leave RIGHT after we ate... aghh

caught the sunset with dana, mina, and prin. catching the sunset is always a mix of emotions...
"will we make it?" "how much time do you think we have left?"
and once we get to our destination: *speechless*

went to marianne's ice cream after
waited in line for 30 minutes (i'm dead)

yes, i was going for the beard look... don't come after me, thanks
hung out with joeshin
showed him my new speakers
listened to tons of music and played braindead phone games till i had to go to work

"jesus & God loves you more!"
amen.

did i tell you... i adopted a cat?
meet kitty, the tabby, 15-yr old cat
she hid all day behind the toilet :'( poor thing she must've been so scared

off to yosemiteee... or yoSAMite!
we had been planning this trip for about 2 months and it's finally happening, wooooohoo
(look at sam holding a bottle of liquor called sam and jack - dead)

first day in Yosemite we just drove around the area
i was insanely tired because i drove the entire trip, but...but i guess there is no choice lol
(the sunset colors were truly surreal!)

dinner for first night:
sausage, samgyubsal (pork), kimchi, watermelon, rice, lettuce
we keep it simple....

second day we went on a hike
misty trails was pretty crazy
jonghyun also fainted (LOL) and there are some CRAZy photos/videos i can show if requested personally
truly on this trip the two MVPs are jonghyun and sangjoon

second night dinner:
ramen, left over pork, steak, steamed egg, ribs, lettuce, and more
i made the steamed egg (gaeran jjim) and i was so happy with it... i literally used 9 eggs and i swear i ate 6 of them :')

(i forgot to add this picture, but i just thought it was funny - me and the girlys)
photographer dave taking pictures for tourists from europe :D

i could end this yosemite trip blog with a beautiful picture of half dome and the sunset... but this picture is worth more than that. LOL. truly truly the mvps of this trip... TRULY, hahhaa
"I <3 korea" too!
the next day (departure day) sangjoon's dad bought us all korean food at a local restaurant lol there are more pictures but i can't find them right now so this writing shall do.

i'm sure i'll find my style and flow as i continue to write monthly blog posts, but for now this shall be.

overall, the month of july was super crazy. in summary:
mission trip, grandma (mom's side), church events, yoSAMite trip, and (i didn't include this) moving/packing/helping my mom to ohio :') + starting my new job

many things are falling into place, but there are just so many things that have fallen into place and i need to take care of. but praise the lord in midst of all this. the month of july was quite the trip :)
